| Ms. Pedroza | During a crazy and hard transition in our families life, Ms. Pedroza was a constant bright light in my daughter’s life when we had to move to Evanston abruptly after a flooded house! We have been to three different schools in three different states and Ms. Pedroza has been by far the best and most incredible teacher we have experienced. She is kind, patient, cool, makes learning fun, and most importantly makes her students feel loved and special. We unfortunately only had her for a half year before we moved back to Ohio when our house was finished, but her impact still is felt and how much she is missed is mentioned all the time! We feel lucky to just have had her for a short time during her first year, and know that any student that walks through her doors in the years to come are very lucky and can be assured they are getting one of the best when it comes to teachers. | Ciara Burns |

| Stephanie Peterson | Mrs. Peterson's commitment to the growth and success of each and every individual child is nothing short of incredible. She goes great lengths to make sure my child is getting support where he needs it, and tries to understand him rather than just expect him to always conform. I cannot tell you how much her kindness, patience, and determination means to my son and I. Academically, he has grown leaps and bounds his kindergarten year. But more importantly, he is growing as his own amazing little self; gaining confidence, respect, and willingness with the help of this great teacher. I truly believe teachers can make it or break it for some of these kids. I'm forever grateful she is helping my son make it. | |

| Mrs. Robertson | My 3rd grader has learned so much this year. She absolutely loves being in Mrs. Robertson's class. She has not wanted to miss one day of school this year, she only missed one day because she wasn't feeling well and I had to practically force her. She comes home everyday excited to tell me what she's learned. I think that when a young child wants nothing more than to be in school it speaks volumes about the teacher and the classroom environment that teacher has created. I understand, just by speaking with my child that there are several different challenges in her class, but everyone is treated the same and made to feel just as important as the next kid. Mrs. Robertson has created an atmosphere where my child is not only learning what she needs to be learning but she is learning to treat everyone with kindness and respect, no matter what their differences might be. I strongly believe my daughter is learning so many great life lessons she will carry with her for the rest of her school years. As a mom, there is no better feeling than knowing your child is spending her school days in the best care possible, where she is loved, challenged, and feels safe. | |

We had a ruff previous year with his old teacher and when my son started in her class I let her know this. Every day he got excited to go to school. Never fought me on going and always came home happy and never sad or upset or filled with anxiety. She made him feel seen and helped boost his confidence in a subject I never knew he was interested in. He now shines every day and I ask him if he likes Mrs Rex he says yes and wishes she could be his teacher forever. She’s amazing and I appreciate everything she does for her class and students! She deserves all the recognition! | |
